Kenya and Iran are pursuing increased trade to boost their exports as they seek more opportunities in agro-processing, textiles, leather as well as extractive industries.

Speaking during a Kenyan-Iranian bilateral trade meeting in Nairobi, Industry and Trade Cabinet Secretary Adan Mohamed said Kenya is keen to enhance its trade relations with Iran.

An Iranian delegation led by the country’s Minister of Trade and Mining Mohammad Reza Nezmatzadeh is in the country to seek attractive investment opportunities
