The Kenyan Premier League (KPL) clash pitting Sofapaka at home to Gor Mahia on Wednesday has for the third time now been moved. Initially listed to the staged at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos, the game was moved to the Moi International Sports Center (MISC) Kasarani and has now been moved to the Nairobi City Stadium.

The match, initially scheduled to kick off at 3pm has since been moved to one hour later and both clubs and referees have been informed.

Sofapaka will be the home team and the club’s Team Manager Amenipa Bigisho confirmed the shift was occasioned by logistical reasons.

“We thought it would be easier for us to have the match at the Nairobi City Stadium on the day due to logistical reasons because we are as well going through hard times. We hope for a good output in the game and a return to winning ways,” he noted.

The match was rescheduled owing to the two teams’ weekend action in the Top 8 Cup semi-finals where Gor Mahia took on Tusker as Sofapaka played Sony Sugar, both matches ending in 2 – 2 draws. Michael Iluve will be the referee in the game.
